To all of our families, friends, and clients:

We are now nine months past the worst disaster our community has faced in recent times, and in our opinion, the worst disaster that our country has seen in a generation. Arguably, many of us thought that our beloved city would be progressing more rapidly in its recovery efforts.  However, in Katrina’s wake, we have endured endless battles with insurance adjusters, FEMA representatives, long lines at the grocery, unreliable contractors and repair people, one of the most controversial and heated election seasons, difficulty in finding workers, this list could go on and on.  Yet, we still press on.

At some point, we have all had to ask ourselves, ”what are we fighting for exactly?”  This answer is different for many of our old friends and for our new friends that we have made since the storm.  However, there are a few consistent themes that seem to be universal, such as our love for our city’s rich heritage, our family traditions, and New Orleans’ culinary excellence.  All of these are important, however, the one rallying point that everyone seems to agree upon is our commitment to do what is necessary, regardless of how hard it may be, to do what we can to ensure that this will never  happen to us again.

For some, with regret, that has meant relocating to other cities.  To our friends, family, colleagues and neighbors that have made this choice, whether willingly or by necessity, we bid you farewell and best wishes in your new endeavors.

To our partners in the rebuilding of a Greater New Orleans, we say thank you for believing that New Orleans is worth fighting for.  Together, with patience and diligence, I believe that New Orleans will emerge a better place for us to live, raise and educate our children, and conduct business.  There are many people waiting on the sidelines to see what the next election brings, or what the next hurricane season has in store for us, but to them I say have faith, take courage, and be about the business of living your life as though nothing happened.  Take time to enjoy your family and friends.  Eat out more often.  Support the local businesses that have made the commitment to stay here in New Orleans and contribute to the rebuilding of our city.  Get involved.  Select a worthy cause and support it.  Choose to live today, live for tomorrow, and to not be consumed with yesterday. 

In a market climate where most of us have become accustomed to receiving mediocre service and shrugging it off as an unfortunate byproduct of living in a Post-Katrina New Orleans, I have started a new customer service initiative.  I call it the “Hall Piano Company 100% Customer Satisfaction Initiative.”  Our desire is to exceed our clients expectations for product knowledge, selection, service before and after the sale, and prompt professional delivery.  We choose to not make excuses and to take personal responsibility for satisfying your every piano need.  Never in my life have I been more focused on and driven by one purpose, and it has consumed the entirety of my staff.  We have assembled one of the finest teams in the country to service your every piano need.  My team and I look forward to working with you whether you are replacing a piano lost to Katrina, or selecting your first piano.   My commitment to you, our client, is to provide to you the Best Customer Experience with us from start to finish.
